Ah, the poker steam. If a poker gambler claims at no time to have looked down the shadow of an upcoming tilt – they’re either lying or they haven’t been wagering very long. Since we are assumingly (almost all of us) in the game for a single reason – to make $$$$, it will make sense that we will gamble accordingly to maximize winnings. Now let’s say you are up $100 off of a $100 deposit, and you take a huge blow in a NL game and your stack is down to $120. You have burned $80 in a hand where you were assured to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and had a 10 – 1 edge. And that fish! He sucked you out on the river? – Well hold it right here. This is a classic choice for a fresh bettor to start tilting.
