• Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks

Web poker has become globally famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers receive 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is equal to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays chips even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

    • Even for a pair or high card
    • two to one for 2 pairs
    • 3-1 for three of a kind
    • four to one for a straight
    • five to one for a flush
    • 7-1 for a full house
    • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
    • 50-1 for a straight flush
    • one hundred to one for a royal flush
