• Caribbean Poker Rules and Pointers

Web poker has become globally famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the bet is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pony’s up cash even with your original bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

    • Equal for a pair or high card
    • 2-1 for 2 pairs
    • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
    • 4-1 for a straight
    • 5-1 for a flush
    • 7-1 for a full house
    • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
    • 50-1 for a straight flush
    • 100-1 for a royal flush
