Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more experienced players winning their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied choices.
It is also easier to play for a long time with only a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the house gets seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
