Internet poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a figure on par with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The casino pays chips even with your initial bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
